Hi

I'm currently trialing this and it works great on my O2 Orbit

Assuming I went to the house where my stolen phone was, I think it would be useful to
have a message pre-typed on my spare phone
hit send on the spare phone when the door was opened
sending the text message to the stolen phone which would trigger a particular ringtone

Hearing this would then leave you in no doubt that you phone was in that location
